Endeavor opening this same file in Notepad. Does information technology look like reasonable text or is it a lot of gibberish?
If it's adequately normal-looking text, someone is trying to take reward of a PPT feature that allows you to open up text files equally though they were outlines in PowerPoint. And if then, you're running into a limit in (as I recall) the number of lines this feature will allow.
If that's the case, permit united states know; nosotros can probably come up with a workaround.

- I got the file from Uni, so that must be reliable.
- All the powerpoint files are getting the same error.
- I tried to open a new presentation, it is normal, I tin save it and open information technology similar nothing happened, but the one-time files which I downloaded from the Cyberspace can not open.
- No, All of the programs removed afterward I update window 10, so I downloaded the Microsoft Office 2016 from my Uni website, all of the Microsoft offices are working well such equally Microsoft discussion and Excel except PowerPoint.

Endeavour this:
Rightclick the icon for i of the files that won't open up in PowerPoint.
Choose Backdrop from the card that appears.
In the Properties dialog, expect at the lesser of the GENERAL tab
Is there a button marked UNBLOCK or a cheque box with something about block in the clarification?
If and so, the file is blocked because it came from the internet. Use the push button or checkbox to unblock it, and so close the Backdrop dialog and effort opening the file in PowerPoint over again.

Thank you for your suggestion. but unluckily, I checked the box for the ''Unblock'', it did not marker
And I still can not open up the PowerPoint file.
Should I uninstall the Microsoft Role 2016?
